Operations after fire extinguishing

After fire extinguishing, the operator should first clean the fire protection system, and then turn off the fire pump, drain the remaining water and purge the pipes, and check the vehicle.

After the work is over, use the “hand throttle” switch to reduce the engine speed to idle speed, turn off the “Combine Pump switch”, and the fire pump will stop running. After the water (or foam) operation of the fire truck is completed, the remaining water in the fire pump and pipeline should be released in time. When working in winter, the residual water should be cleaned up to prevent the residual water from freezing and damaging the equipment. Open the pump discharge valve, water outlet valve and water suction valve, open the purge valve, and use the gas in the chassis gas cylinder to blow out the remaining water in the fire pump and pipeline
